Make sure to focus your efforts in the right places.
You would only be wasting your time if you invested it into the wrong platform. The platform that wasn’t going to reach the audience you’re trying to reach in the first place. A lot of people seem to think that having a presence on all social platforms, is going to create more engagement. This isn’t always the case. Putting time and effort into the right socials is what’s going to create a little more engagement. For example, let’s take a cleaning company 🧹 They want to increase their organic reach through a social network. The right platform would be something like Facebook. A platform they can invest time into through creating written posts, explaining their services. Something like Pinterest, however, is more likely to fail miserably. It’s a social networking site whose users post with pictures. If this cleaning company were to invest their time into this social platform, because they had the mindset that they needed to be present everywhere, is most likely wouldn’t work. Or at least, nothing would come from it. There’s no need to waste your energy on a social platform, that is 99% likely to NOT increase your organic reach on social. Focus your efforts in the right places.
